A 15 minute drive takes you to Mires and Timbaki towns. There you will find banks, doctors, shops, offices etc. A 30 minutes drive to Agio Farengo, with the gorge and beach. Within a 1 hour drive you reach Heraklion and Rethymnon cities. Public bus services are available.
